Professional Profile

Dr Amit Saha trained as an undergraduate at King’s College London where he completed his MBBS and BSc. He has had extensive training in all aspects of Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine. He trained at the professorial unit at King’s College Hospital and at the Louise Coote Lupus unit at St Thomas’.

He has been awarded an MSc in Rheumatology (Distinction), an MA in Education and won a Bursary for his research based on measuring disease activity in Rheumatoid Arthritis. He was the head of the rheumatology department for the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust for over 5 years but now works alongside his clinical roles, as a Senior Lecturer at the Kent and Medway Medical School -teaching medical students about Rheumatology.
