Blog News 20th September 2018 Enquiries & appointments

On the 28th and 29th September 2018, 14 members of the KIMS Hospital team will be cycling
from KIMS Hospital, Maidstone to the twinned town of Beauvais, France. The challenge of
cycling over 120 miles will hope to raise much-needed funds for their charity of the year,
Samaritans, Maidstone and Weald.

A support crew of four will drive from Maidstone to Beauvais to provide food and drink to the
cyclists, comprised of both clinical and non-clinical members including CEO Simon James.
Simon James, CEO KIMS Hospital comments. “We are all really looking forward to taking on
this challenge. The Samaritans in Maidstone are an amazing charity providing 24/7 mental
health support, and that will spur us on as we pedal 120 miles over 2 days.

Last year we took on the Three Peaks raising a phenomenal amount of money for our chosen
charity and I am certain will smash our fundraising target again this year.”

Fundraising has begun – If you would like to sponsor the team, please do so here:
