Hospital voted Kent’s most promising new business

The success was were announced at the Chambers’ 2016 Business Awards on 17 March at Cathedral Lodge, Canterbury.
Nurses Claire Traverse and Sue Robins were joined by patient advisors Lesley Hickman and Judith Kendall to collect the award on behalf of the hospital.
Chief Executive Simon James said afterwards: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award. It certainly isn’t an easy task to build and open the doors on a new independent hospital, but the whole team at KIMS Hospital have worked together tirelessly, and the reward is deserved recognition for their efforts and the long term support of our investors.
“KIMS Hospital is now the fastest growing independent hospital in the UK, and as we approach the end of our second full year of operation, we are confident that we’re on the right track and delivering our mission; offering world-class healthcare to patients and their families in Kent .”
In November 2015 KIMS Hospital won the Laing Buisson award for delivering the Best Nursing Practice in the UK. KIMS Hospital is also a finalist for the Health Investor Awards 2016, Private Hospital Group of the Year, which will be announced in June.
