Referring a patient

There are a number of ways your patients can access care with us at KIMS Hospital and Sevenoaks Medical Centre. Whether they are choosing to pay for their own treatment, using their private medical insurance or wish to use the NHS e-Referral System (e-RS) to book with us, the information below will help you to refer your patients with ease.

Private treatment

Whether your patient has chosen to pay for their own treatment or is using their private medical insurance, it is important we receive your referral letter as soon as possible.  You can do this by sending your referral letter to our Enquiries Team:

NHS treatment

If your patient is choosing to have their treatment here as an NHS patient, we offer a number of services via e-RS. For the most up to date list of services, please refer to e-RS.

It is important to note that some services may not be directly accessible to GPs, due to triaging rules put into place by the CCGs.  Please include the patient’s choice in the referral letter to the triaging service, so this can be taken into account.

Please note that Sevenoaks Medical Centre currently offers services to private patients only.
