Professional Profile
Mr Oyarzabal joined the South Thames Rotation in 1992 and completed his specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 1999. He was then awarded a TWJ Foundation Fellowship to work in the Otolaryngology Department at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
In January 2000 he was appointed by the Medway NHS Trust as a Consultant Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon. He developed a special interest in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and Phonosurgery, becoming the Lead for Rhinology and Voice Disorders. Mr Oyarzabal was appointed Lead Clinician for ENT in 2008 and Clinical Director for Surgery in 2011.
