Professional Profile
Dr Michael Samuel covers all aspects of general neurology. Additionally, with neurology and neurosurgical colleagues, he has developed and delivered the complex treatments for movement disorders, such as deep brain stimulation. He works closely with allied sub-specialties to provide multidisciplinary care.
Dr Samuel is a member of the Association of British Neurologists, Movement Disorders Society, British Medical Association, British Society of Stereotaxic and Functional Neurosurgery, Clinical Study Group for the Dementia and Neurodegenerative Disease Research Network (DeNDRoN, UK) and the Medical Defence Union.
He is a reviewer for several movement disorders academic journals.
