We are seeking an enthusiastic Inpatient Lead Physiotherapist to join our team. The individual will play a vital role in the development of inpatient therapy services and have the overall responsibility of developing the inpatient team.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Responsibilities include:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients based around sound clinical reasoning and application of evidence based practice.<\/li>\n<li>Management of an inpatient caseload of Orthopaedic, Gynaecological, Breast Surgery and General Surgical patients. In addition to medical admissions.<\/li>\n<li>Have an active role in falls prevention for KIMS Hospital and responsible alongside the inpatient team for training and development of the wider MDT.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate the running of our joint school for pre-surgical hips and knees.<\/li>\n<li>Take an active role in complex discharge planning at KIMS Hospital<\/li>\n<li>Being innovative in methods of care delivery and aid in the effective use of resources to ensure maximum utilisation of skills and knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the development and review of service and professional standards.<\/li>\n<li>Being responsible for planning of staffing levels to cover an orthopaedic service across seven days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Person Specification:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy<\/li>\n<li>Have a valid registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate extensive post-registration clinical experience, specifically in an orthopaedic field.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to show evidence of continuous professional development and its application in practice<\/li>\n<li>Be 100% patient orientated with a focus on continuous service improvement with the patient experience the main priority.<\/li>\n<li>Be enthusiastic about peer development and pushing clinical excellence throughout the entire team &nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>KIMS Hospital employees enjoy the following benefits:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary<\/li>\n<li>Pension Scheme<\/li>\n<li>Private Health Insurance<\/li>\n<li>33 Days annual leave plus extra time off for your birthday<\/li>\n<li>Life Assurance<\/li>\n<li>Annual Flu Vaccination<\/li>\n<li>Free Eye Test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you do not receive a reply within 1 working week from the closing date, please assume you have not been shortlisted on this occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Previous applicants need not apply.<\/p>\n<p><b>If you have any queries regarding this vacancy, Lily would be happy to help.
