Trigger Finger
The tendons in your fingers catch or lock when you bend them. What is Trigger Finger?
Trigger finger is a condition that affects the tendons in your fingers or thumb, causing them to catch or lock when you bend them. This happens when the tunnel which the tendon moves (tendon sheath) becomes inflamed or thickened, restricting the tendon’s movement. The finger may snap open with a popping sensation, similar to a trigger being pulled and released.
