Urogynaecology
At KIMS Hospital and Sevenoaks Medical Centre, we work with specialist teams that support urinary incontinence conditions with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality, helping you to restore your confidence.
Many women experience weakened pelvic muscles or tears in the connective tissue due to excessive strain on the pelvis – most commonly as a result of childbirth, strenuous activity and menopause, but also from chronic disease or following pelvic surgery, such as hysterectomy.
We understand that problems with urinary incontinence or pelvic floor disorders can be distressing and may leave some people feeling embarrassed, which is why we have specialist urogynaecology teams to treat your needs within comfortable, private facilities.
A seamless service to provide you with the support you need
You may have seen a general Gynaecologist or even a Urologist who may refer you to the urogynaecology team who specialise in these conditions, providing a rounded and seamless service. We can help to treat a range of conditions affecting your pelvic floor muscles and strengthen your bowel, bladder, uterus, vagina and rectum, helping you maintain a normal, care-free lifestyle.
We are proud of the exceptional levels of care and support we provide at our facilities. All Consultants will discuss your concerns and symptoms with sensitivity and respect, adding security and peace of mind to your experience.
