Professional Profile

Mr Siva Kumar is a consultant cosmetic surgeon.

Mr Kumar graduated from Newcastle University medical school in 2005. He was appointed to the GMC specialist register in plastic surgery in 2015. He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS) and has been elected to sit on their council of members.

Mr Kumar has completed a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery where he trained in the latest techniques to achieve reproducible and natural cosmetic results involving the face, breast and body. In his NHS practice at the Queen Victoria Hospital he undertakes complex reconstructive surgery of the face and body following skin cancer removal.

Mr Kumar was instrumental in developing and implementing the Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy (SLNB) service for melanoma and is one of only a few surgeons in the South-East providing this valuable service.
